Missing DVD’s

November 3, 2008
Two DVD’s from 2006 Nationals and the whole set in a case of the 2005 National that belong to Kathy Anderson were mistakenly taken at the National Specialty at Purina Farms. She would really like them back as they are no longer available. If someone took them by mistake please return them. It is certainly understandable it was most likely just a oversight.

National Animal Interest Alliance

October 18, 2008

Bob Darden, the AKC legislative liaison for the GSCA, gave a valuable informational report at the annual meeting in St. Louis. Included in his report was a website to use as a resource for anti-dog legislation, www.naiaonline.org. (National Animal Interest Alliance)

Upon my return home from the National, I passed this website onto GSCA members in Massachusetts and to other various dog club members from that area. The state of Massachusetts is preparing to enact a very detrimental bill that would affect dog owners state wide.

Shortly after passing the info to the groups, I did receive thanks from them and was told that it was greatly appreciated and provided a great deal of useful information and guidance on how to be effective in the battle.

As of this writing the bill has not yet been heard but it is hopeful that some dramatic changes are being made in the restructuring of the bill that would make it a more sensible piece of legislation. But since any state, city or town may be facing this same dilemma at any time, this website is something we should all be aware of and use as needed.
